I agree about the BM5A's. I a/b them with every monitor at a guitar center and they killed them all in my opinion. Also, I know that dynaudio makes everything single part of there speaker. They don't outsource anything, so they have complete control of the quality of every part in there gear.

get the extreme, it pretty much has all the sounds of the studio plus they included most if not all of the expansions for the triton line, if i'm correct. plus right now korg is having a thing where if you buy a triton extreme you can get the korg legacy (500-600 i think) for free!! great deal

bx5a's beat the rokit 5 in my opinion. but if you can go up to 500 then get the bx8a's much better, or the krk v4

to be honest with you i think its just ben gibbards voice. I've seen them live a number of times and in different settings..very different, and his voice has always been huge, warm, and clear as a bell.
