    Acoustic Electric question

Thanks guys for the responses. I went back to GC and tried out some more guitars. I still went with the Fender anyway. It sounds pretty good plugged in, IMHO. But, hey, what do I really know? I am eager to do some recording with it... Vice

Removing silence at end of a recording? (Sonar)

This might be lame, but do you have any tracks that are hidden in the track view? Do a show all tracks to check and see. It happened to me once, I found I had hidden a track early on in the tracking process... During editing there was a clip hanging out past the end of my song. Vice

    Audio Driver Error help!

I'm not sure I can be much help, so here goes. A couple of questions first. Have you tried running wave profiler in Sonar? Options-->Audio, it's at the bottom. Your soundcard, is it an onboard (mobo integrated) soundcard or one you had to install (if so, what kind is it)? What version of...

Hey guys, Ok, I just bumped the RAM in my system to 768MB. I figured that would be enough to run this set of soundfonts. I followed the instructions or so I thought. I got a Out of DRAM memory on my Audio card. I am using a Sound Blaster Live! Platinum. I, of course, am not in front of my...

    I suck part 3

Doesn't that seem a bit odd? Sonic Foundry and Twelve Tones (probably others) are admittingly releasing a product that is "crippled". I don't know much about programming, or what API's are, It seems that there should be some fix for this that possibly circumvents Microsoft. Vice

    I suck part 3

What I had to do was double click the effect(plug-in) in a track, say FX Reverb, and save it with a name I would recognize (i.e. Song Name, Instrument) later. Then, I could apply the effect with the same settings later on either in another track, aux, or even song. Does that make any sense? Vice

    Bounce to tracks

I can completely agree with on that when it comes to re-recording the tracks to a stereo track. But with Bounce to Tracks where is my signal coming from? Why would it be quieter than the mixdown version? I guess the question I really want to know is where should the faders be set to in the...
