    Behringer B-5 Reviews?

I just picked up a Yamaha AW16G which I'm having a lot of fun with. I've already got a pair of SM57s, an AT3035 and an MC012 all of which I'm happy with. I often get together with family and friends to play and I'd like to bring along my 16G and record the sessions. I'd like to pick up a pair of...

    Finally found fiberglass

Well, my brother found it technically. I have been telling him I've been looking for 703 fiberglass and couldn't find a local place that stocked it. He gets lucky and finds a place on his first call. APi Construction Company. The funny thing is when he walked in and asked for 703, the lady asked...

    ogg codec

I've been using it for some time now and I do all of my encoding in Vorbis (Ogg) format now. I think the quality is much better than mp3 especially at lower bitrates. I have encoded well below 128kbps and it still sounds pretty good.

cheapest freebie "Mastering" for the PC

    Upgrading my setup

I've been putting together a small home setup and recording a little bit here and there. Now I'm getting a little bit more serious and I'm a little frustrated with some of the limitations of my equipment that I bought before I knew what I was doing (and what I wanted to do). So I've been...

    general computer question

Audio processing is very CPU intensive in general. Depending on the software you are using you may be able to set the thread priority so it allows you to do other things (browsing, word processing, etc.) if that's what you're worried about. If all you're doing is the ripping then that's...

    Acoustical Tiles or 703/705 fiberglass

I have a quick question. I'm looking to do a little bit of low budget treatment for my apartment. I wanted to build some panels using 703 fiberglass but I've had a tough time finding a dealer (most of the people I've talked to had no idea was I was talking about). I finally found a place that...
