I have a taylor 314ce..it's a limited edition from 2001 and it has solid imbuia on the back and sides..it's tuned down 1/2 step and strung with phosphor bronze strings..very even and warm sounding... some taylors are too jangly and bright for me but this one is great.. imho, the best sounding...

I've been using clayton gold ultem's (1.2mm) forever but recently got some of these dunlop's in 1mm..they are really sinilar to the clayton's but the dunlops are smaller..I like them both..

I have a backup guitar with an EMG ACS soundhole pickup.. you're one of the few people that I've seen that also has one (I bought mine locally on a whim).. what is your opinion of that pickup and have you found any preamps or EQ's that work well with it? I do like the adjustable pole pieces...

Hi, I have a friend who has the tech 21 bass driver and it sounds awesome..but I use the lr baggs para-acoustic DI (PADI) with my acoustic and love it. It does have more eq than the tech 21..and it's cheaper. It is one piece of gear I always use. $125 here...
