whats the deal with shockmounts??? shouldn't these be added to the products where the mic doesn't necessarily come with one? (i.e. acm-3, acm-583...)

i sure hope so. i paid for a lot of those shockmounts. they were also for the acm-240 and 220.

thanks for the info on the 1081! chance, is this preamp different from the other two? or is it the same pre with the 1081 eq section?
