I use both. If you want to go budget, go PC. If you are at a intermediate or pro level, and have the budget to match, go Mac. Ultimately, if the material being recorded is good, it doesn't really matter.

YES! I was using Vegas w/ a Lexicon Core 2 and it did that!AAAAARRRRRGGGGG! I spoke with a tech at SF, and he said that it had something to do with the drivers not being updated. Call SF and they should give you the skinny on how to fix it. rdpete

If you need the MIDI capabilities, go Cubase, if you need quick editing and multi-tracking functions, go Vegas. Although, I did speak with a Tech at Sonic Foundry, and he said that there are some compatibility issues with Vegas and the Motu drivers. Of course, this was a couple of months back...
