Like the push of the song....Vocaks a smidge too low for me. I would experiment with effects on 1st solo solo...bring in some pads halfway through.....i was gonna suggest shortening solo and you went into the Double solo....lol
Creative choice, just not one I would personally do....of course...
So I get really nice recordings from the DP 24. Editing would be easier on a Computer.
Should I go the Pro Tools route, or is it overkill?
I will probably want to still track on the DP 24 and mix on Computer
Had 4 or 5 crits on the synth being too prominent. Gonna remix at sdome point for sure. As far as excitement, not certain this song is built that way.
No lift on the Chorus or one of my soaring Chorus'....Have to sit on that and accomplish it through instrumentation. Not sure which way I'll...
Hey all,
Since I bought my Korg PA 4X keyboard a little over 1 month now, I figured it was time to give a song a try. Recorded on a TASCAM DP-24
"Cry Of The Young" https://soundcloud.com/stevealtonian/cry-of-the-young
Everything seems in it's place. I want the Vox up just a smidge, but that is always personal as a vocalist.
Like the wind sound, not cheesy. Nice work on the overall tune......
Sounds good....I probably would of moved the guitars maybe just a little more toward center versus directly 45 degrees....Or maybe something to fill up every now and then a little more toward center
Nice tune. Vocalist has shades of that 80's sound...like her
I have MIDI lined up and working well from my TASCAM DP 24 from the beginning of the song, works like a champ. Problem is if I want to start from say bar 8 the PA 4X starts at one and DOES NOT SLAVE IN TIME.
I have my KORG TRITON Extreme set up MIDI Thru after the PA 4X at the same time and it...
Silent.....
I listened 2X
Well for someone named silent you sure stirred up quite a loud roar.....
Perfectly acceptable to clearly state it is "released" and ask for feedback....But criticism here will be distinctly harsher.
As a nation we all yelled at the TV at the end of the Super Bowl...
Hello...
I've read through all the responses, and no one has addressed the Korg SP 250 itself....I'm thinking it is the culprit and not set to transmit properly. My Korg TRITON Extreme has and External and Internal setting for its sequencer, and only transmits when on External. Looks like you...
Gotta disagree with this advice.....
Midi is Midi.....Slave/Sync is crucial. Mandatory to have it on all keys.....plus you may have a drum machine to drop into the mix....
For keyboardists it is always better to have Midi and not need it, than to need it and not have it......
OP....You've had some of these tunes since 1986 & they haven't been stolen yet, so I think you are okay....They may just be a little "Dated" at this point...
That said, any song of mine I post is always "Copywritten" before I post online....
I think although it appears this keyboard is only a 2 track sequencer or audio, you should have MIDI.....
If one day you do decide you need it, you are screwed.....
