I will third the J-station...along with J-edit I am one happy camper. I used to have this thing from a russian guy ... GuitarFX and it was cool in my very early stages of computer oriented guitar amp modelling stuff. I haven't tried it in a longtime though, maybe someone can give it a whirl...

My system has exactly the same numbers, except I use n-track. It's been awhile but I do believe I had upwards of 80 tracks (don't ask :D) before any signs of glitching at one point.

I have used some of the Blueline plugin's with reasonable sucess. You might want to try others, however.
