    Slow down recording

What clock rate did you record it at? I've had success at clocking it while tracking at a high rate, and then changing the clock to a slower rate slows the recording down. This may only work it you have a master clock, and then you have your converters set to convert the sample rate internally.

    How much would you spend?

Many of my guitars were handmade by American folk. I own some cheaper guitars too, but they rarely see the light. I agree with whats already been said, you're paying for craftsmanship, wood quality, SOUND, feel, looks, etc. My latest purchase was a bourgeois archtop with one of those...

Peluso 2247 Le or other vocal mic?

The pelusos are good mics. If you're looking for a c12 flavored mic, the P12 is the one you want.

    Help... Hats too loud

Eh... I'd say its important to play with balance, but MORE important to have proper mic position. Play with the 57 to get a good sound and position it so that the hats are in the null so they don't bleed as much into that mic. I like putting a mic on the hats as well to have control over them...

    FENDER BASSMAN '59 help please!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I also believe that 65 was the last year for the blackface fender. Silverfacing started after the buyout.

    FENDER BASSMAN '59 help please!

I own an old bassman and would never sell it. Its my main recording amp that I put every guitar player on that comes to me. It gets semi clean and semi distorted. Put a pedal in front of it and its great. Two of my favorites are my vintage big muff and the zvex superhardon. You can't go...

    Should I get this guitar?

Not quite sure I follow this. How does the screen make it more stable? I suppose it fills in the cavity? I don't know that I understand how this would make it more stable than an extra bolt.

    Should I get this guitar?

You must've misunderstood me, or I wasn't clear enough. The necks aren't as stable where they connect to the body on the three bolts. As to not noticing when you're playing, I've gotta disagree with you there. Maybe because it was an old guitar it was loose, but the damn thing was horrible...

The two humbucker model is the Deluxe. The one humbucker model is the Custom. Both were originally available and are available as reissues.
