Yeah, definitely verify with Dell.
If they say that without upgrading the videocard you can't get dual monitor - then just get buy it (withotu upgrading) and buy a cheap dual monitor video card. Theres no reason to upgrade to a videocard that powerful for dual monitor.
Well TRS is a balanced line. TS is not.
But I believe TRS can also be stereo unbalanced. The T/R/S accounts for 3 wires in the cord. In a stereo cord it means that there is left, right and ground but in a mono balanced cord there is a hot, cold and ground. Basically if you want balanced stereo...
Well guitar normally doesn't sound very lifelike if run directly - but yes you can use the direct out to go to your computer/a mixer. Make sure however that the direct out is line level - and not headphone level.
It will most probably be line level - but if its a headphone port then it will be...
Thats the thing. It has a volume meter thing on it (the effects unit - so you dont peak and clip it accidentaly) and when I play the guitar through it they light up correctly - its just like its not getting returned. But with a microphone plugged in I can hear the effects.
Hi,
I have a rackmount DSP128 Effects unit hooked up through my mixers post-send and is returning through the left return.
I choose to send my SM58 (xlr) to the unit and the effects work properly.
However if I choose to run my guitar (straight to mixer) I don't get any effects even though...
Well I would return the case.
But the throughput will hardly be adversely affected by having them both on one channel. Not even the fastest drives push a channels bandwidth.
Just get a 400w Zalman Silent and you'll be fine.
I'm running an Aopen 250w (Aopen are a great brand) PSU for this machine:
Athlon 2000mhz (1800 OCed)
512MB DDR
2 7200RPM hard Drives
2 Optical Drive
Few Fans
Few PCI Cards
GF4
i got a 302 crash.
real cheap stuff but even after using Pro cymbals for a while I still came back to it. Its just got a cool sound (its a cheap sound).
However its not very nice for softer songs.
