Thanks for the replies guys, I'll try having a look at the connections. It does not distort, signal just vansihes completely. I'll also try leaving it on with no signal in for some time and see if it behaves the same.

Worked like a charm, great sounding versitale and very nice looking. Tried it on the 2 bus and on bass, also tried it as a limiter on a pre master. Very nice indeed.

Bass is probabbly the one achilles heel the rnc has, but on most other things I think it's really transparant.
