Hey there,
What tends to be the most common good video card DAWs are using now? I have one LCD monitor, and I'm about to pick up a second one, and need to upgrade my card so I can use dual monitors. Also, I have a separate hard drive devoted to gaming, so I need the card to be worth a damn...
Hey there,
I have a Delta1010. I've recently moved my computer to another room, and won't be using the expansion for the Delta1010 for the time being, and would like to set the card up to just plug into my amp straight from the back of the computer. It's got the typical red/white audio outputs...
I just got some monitor stands for my studio, and it came with both neoprene pads, and brass studs for placing on the top plate to set the monitor on top of... which should I use for best quality?
Right, the hook-up, I can do... I'm more interested in what's involved (if anything, I'm no expert with this stuff) in setting up channels and inputs and such, as well as setting one (or both) as the default card.
Hi there,
I would like to upgrade my little studio to be able to send 16 tracks at once instead of 8. What would I need on my computer to be able to hook up 2 Delta 1010's? Is it even possible, and if so, how would it be set up?
Thanks,
Heh,
Honestly, I wouldn't ship it ;) I was mostly just posting this for people in the area if they wanted to come by and pick it up. I guess I should have been clearer.
Hey guys,
At the Salvation Army Store on East Lee Street, in Greensboro, NC, there's a Wurlitzer Orbit 3 sitting in the back with a $175 price tag on it. The fiance wouldn't let me bring it home since I'm already taking up living room space with my piano and stereo, so I figured I'd let you...
So I'm glad this thread was bumped, because I've never seen it before. I'm currently looking into doing one of the SAE Garage conversions at my home out in the country. It's mainly going to be for my own personal use, my band's use, and possibly some friends. I just have one main question...
What's a good small midi controller? I don't need 88 keys, I have a keyboard for that, I just want something small enough to sit on my desk that I can make some bass (and occassionally, drum) tracks with. Does M-Audio make anything that's "desktop" sized? If not, who else?
I just wish I had a basement when I was younger that I could have done something similar for my band. It looks really nice man, I hope everything turns out well.
Okay, I see; that was just another option. So, I have an 8-channel TRS - TRS snake that I want to send from the console to my patch bay. If I just insert the TRS one click in on the outs on the console, and then into the patchbay, that will work, right?
