Well if the license for M-Powered was on the iLok that broke, there's no possible way of getting it back. I'd say you've been ripped off.

Because of the way in which Windows performs disk-degragmentation, performing this operation can affect Pro Tools sessions, and cause the error message saying "Disk may be too fragmented" etc. If you do encounter these problems then my earlier suggestion of "save copy in" will rectify this.

First thing I'd recommend is opening the session, then choosing File>Save Copy In... Then reopen that newly saved version. You're not recording to the system drive are you?

Following on from a good post, I thought I'd just clear up a misconception which seemed to come across in that post... The Control 24 is NOT an interface. Therefore it has absolutely no bearing what so ever on the I/O of your Pro Tools rig.

I have done my 101 and 110 on both Pro Tools 7.4 and 8. I then did my 201 and 210 on 8. I'm also hoping to be VENUE certified some time, but I need to complete my degree first! And yeah I have the T-Shirt :) When I have done 210P I'll get the baseball cap instead.
