Hey, I am trying to record vocals after laying out a guitar track but when I am listening to the headphones I get a choppy playback. It's hard to describe, but the guitar track is a bit choppy when I'm listening in the headphones to record. Almost as though my computer is having a hard time...

I like your voice. The instruments I think sound a little muddy if that's the right word? I wish that electric guitar would be louder and maybe a solo?

Yeah, I think my primary issue is really in my musical abilities (both singing and playing guitar). I think I need to focus a lot more on those two issues a lot more before I can really start recording. I am finding it very helpful to listen to myself though. It really exposes all of those flaws...
