i double-tracked the same thing and just put one (i zoomed in very very very very far) slightly ahead of another track to beef it up a little. i also added some reverb. two...
so i recorded a little something something last night...totally out of anger. here's the best the i can do with playing it live. (one track, guitar and vox on on track)
the weird thing is that i just recorded something with the same signal chain abotu a day ago. it just feels like i'm forgetting to turn something up on the fastrack or something. ohhh....you were talking about the panning thing. i really don't know what's wrong here...and it's so frusterating...
you are the man. yes....you are. oh and i know that the software is recognizing my guitar (when i was just trying out your ideas) because i was almost clipping the sound before i got anything. i don't know why when i record now it's sooooo soft.

i have my monitors plugged into the left and right outputs of the fast track (rear) so that takes up...

it's just a simple Fast Track by M-Audio. my mixer is a channel by peavey. i just wanted to plug my monitors into the line in port on my computer....and the volume control isn't letting me change the playback device to make the sound go to the line-in port. the only options i can choose from are...
