Wow !!!!!
Essentially, you can do whatever you like. I'm really glad you're getting into the song. Sorry that the timing is a bit off, I've always had an odd sense of rhythm, although I did strum to a metronome so it shouldn't be too bad. In my head I heard the song as mainly piano, bass and...
OK guys, I know this is probably not the right place, but I figure you're all piano and keyboard players, right ?
Would anyone like to add some piano to a song I wrote ? I play a bit, but not good enough for this song.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you a link to the song.
Ta.
Thanks Greendank
The vox were done in my tiny spare room, sung into an SP B1 straight into the zoom. Just added a bit of reverb and chorus.
Sadly it's not me singing - I wrote the song, played all the instruments (apart from the drums), and the singer in my band recorded the vocals.

To me, the symphonic version is a hundred times better than the pop-rock version. It sounds beautiful, like the theme to a sad film.
The pop-rock one was OK, but was more Hill St Bluesy.
Feel free to ignore my nonsense.
Gilbert O'Sullivan ! I certainly remember him. I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted.
I'll settle on flattered, I guess.
Thanks for listening and commenting.

I've only written and recorded about ten songs. I like this one, but I'd be interested to hear your comments on the song, and how I can...
I can only give my opinion on the 1266 which I've had for about 6 months, and I find it brilliant. It's no doubt frowned on by most people on here who have greater knowledge than me, but for a newbie who wants to quickly make some decent recordings, doesn't need more than 10 or so tracks, and...
I wouldn't say to forget the classifieds. I responded to an ad on a local website, put there by a bass player looking for other musicians.
Me (guitar), another guitarist, a drummer and a singer all responded.
We got on really well, rehearsed for a few months and Big Ned Lasagne was born...
I'm looking to buy a cheap electro acoustic to play in my band. I don't know much about them, but I understand that I'll get a crappy sound through my normal amp, and I don't want to buy an acoustic amp - I already have to drag around shed loads of eqpt when we gig.
I plan to plug it straight...
