Quicker Story Editing - Help me save time

That's a great tip, dachay2tnr's! Thank you so much! Now, let's say that everything to the right of that part that I just inserted needs to come over a little (because I added too much empty space, for example). How would you go about bringing everything to the right back to the left a little?

Quicker Story Editing - Help me save time

Hello, everyone! Could you help me save a LOT of time? I am editing some stories (radio style - with dialogues, sound effects, music, and all), using Sonar 3 Producer Editions. Let's say I want to add a sound effect at a certain point in the story. How can I move EVERYTHING (to the right of...

    Sliding all info

Thank you, AGCurry! It's funny that Sonar doesn't have a "ripple effect" like Vegas and other programs - don't you think? Anyway, that will work. Thanks again!

    Sliding all info

Thank you so much for your answer DM1! One more related question: Let's say I wanted to record a new section and have *everything* move over, how would I do that? Would I have to record the new section in a seperate place and then insert it as you instructed above, or would there be another...

    Sliding all info

Hello! I use Sonar 3. What I need to do is insert an audio in a certain track, but I want all the audio in all the tracks (not only the track where I am adding the audio) to slide over to make room for the new audio. What I call that is a "ripple effect", but I can't find that option in...

    Turn Off Effect in QS8

Call me stupid, but I still can't figure out how to turn off "reverb" when I sample in Sonar 4. What I want to do is sample instruments from my Alesis QS8 in Sonar 4 (That I already know how to do) - and when I record the instruments as wave, I want the "REVERB" turned off in my Alesis QS8...

You helped me narrow it down to the right section, at least. Thanks a lot. I'll go and read the manual now... :)

    Turn Off Effect in QS8

Hello! I have an Alesis QS8 conected through MIDI to my computer, where I sequence with Sonar 3. Someone told me that when I record the sound of any instrument, I should record without any effects (like reverb) - which I will add later on when I mix. I read the manual of QS8, but it seems...

Dx Plugin doesn't show up in Sonar

I went to use Antares Mic Modeler in Sonar 3 and a message similar to the following appeared: "...this filter does not support the current audio format...would you like to remove Antares Mic Modeler from all menus in the future?" Inadvertently, I clicked yes. Now I believe that the plug-in...

Question for James Argo about flute effects

Is it the mixing latency you are talking about? I put it to fastest- 8.7 msec. I think it might have something to do with attack. When I press the key, the flute starts with a "breathy" sound. Is there any way to change that in the settings of Edirol Orchestral?

Question for James Argo about flute effects

When I do what you described through my synth, it sounds good. Yet when I try the same with the flute in Edirol Orchestral, it doesn't sound so good. It sounds "choppy". Any ideas?
