Maybe it's just me but why does every guitar store that sells Gibson or Epiphone have 6 or 7 of these ugly fuckers. The knobs and pick guard always look like they're yellow from being in a smoky room for too long, and the gold finish just looks cheap. Don't get me wrong I love Gibsons and I love...
OK, So let's tackle one problem at a time. Now you say the outputs are being sent to DAW 1 & 2. So now in the mixer window of the presonus software you should see the meters going in the bottom left for DAW 1 & 2, Right???? If so you should also make sure that the output for that mix is GPO 1 &...
To edit drums in Cubase select a drum MIDI data and select "Open Drum Editor". Also if you select a drum map for that MIDI track it will automatically open the drum editor when you double click on MIDI data in that track. To select a drum map it's just below where you set the ins and outs for...
Not sure if this is gonna answer your question but here it goes.
Pick a mix to be your main outs. Let's say mix #1. You can see all of the the inputs and mix them accordingly. Then you can also see the DAW ins which will be what's coming back from the DAW. I think the default is just channels 1...
You'll only be able to record a mix of the mics. Having discrete tracks is a big plus. You could maybe record a scratch track and then record the individual tracks one at a time.
Can you narrow it down at all? Can you confirm if the sound is coming out of the line out from the PC? I suspect it has something to do with your sound card settings or a cable problem.
Yeah 4ms is about as close to zero you're ever going to get. And like others said that number has nothing to do with your MIDI latency. Just record the MIDI of your drums but monitor the analog output from the drum module.
I went out with a friend yesterday who was looking for an acoustic bass and I was getting bored waiting for him to audition basses so I just grab this baby taylor guitar and started playing around. I couldn't put the thing down. It's a 3/4 scale and the body is about the size of an electric. For...
When your recording in Cubase you'll have to set up your inputs (lots of info on this in the cubase forum, look at the top two threads), then when you add a track you specify which input to use. easy really.
Also, You don't need a mixer, an interface will do. If for some reason you'd like a...
