    Fostex Analog To Vf80

there's no "easy" way to do this. You will have to get some leads or plugs that convert your tape player's "rec out" RCA plugs to 1/4" inputs for the VF80. then, the hard part....you can only record 2 tracks at once on the VF80, so you will have to pan track 1 from the tape to the LEFT and...

What to do? What to do?

you guys complain about prices.....come and live in Australia! the CD burner for the VF80 is nearly $1000 AUD (thats a hell of a lot more than 200 quid I can assure you). Luckily, the Aus dollar is rising against the USD so the base price of the VF80 and other units is starting to drop.

    Coupla questions...VF80

Dont ditch the tube amp! The presets in the VF80 are pretty average however, you will have to budget for a microphone as well if you intend to record your amp. Perhaps, if you do sell the amp, you could budget for a cheaper modelling unit like the Behringer V-Amp. t

VF80 - strange problem with CDRW drive

Apparently the update helps with things like loading wav files (in some way that was not clear to me) so it may well be dealing with loops. I havent looked at the Japanese site, that is interesting. I'll let you know how it pans out. T

VF80 - strange problem with CDRW drive

Hi I have noticed a strange problem with the CDRW drive in my VF80. I'm trying to load wav files into a program, and if there are more than 39 wav files on the CD it wont read past that number! The wav files are all named correctly. This is a real nuisance especially with the drum loops CD...

    FD-8 XLR's not working?

hmmm if you have eliminated cords and mics... does the machine have to be set to record to get input level and signal? are the inputs set to line and not mic? (and corresponding gain) do you have a manual? is there a trick to assigning these inputs to a track? but....if you say that the...

    Korg i5M - 'extra' tracks won't record

Hi I'm new here, and I've just bought a second hand i5M, which I intend to use for some solo work, and to scratch out some original tunes at home for my band. I also purchased an "Evolution MK125" MIDI keyboard. So far this seems to work as I just plugged a standard MIDI cable from that straight...
