    fundamentally loathsome by marilyn manson uses some hard panning in the verses, and switches to a more conventional mix in the chorus... it's an interesting effect, but i wouldn't mix like that on a regular basis...

    be very cautious aroung the reverb...it is really easy to go waaaaaaay overboard on the verb, and all of a sudden you're aldo nova or something...

    Tape Speed Question

    using a higher speed will improve your quality somewhat. Kind of like with VHS if you record on SP the quality is higher than SLP if you record your tracks at high speed, then you would also playback/mix them at high speed
