you could get away with a soundcard with just a stereo input, but it wouldnt be near as good. You might want to list the mics that you have. Even though noone can tell you exactly how to set up your mics, they can atleast give you a good place to start from. Google search about recording drums...
haha...i was thinking the samething last night when i was watcing it. I came to conclude that Robyn (black lady) uses an sm7, the guests get sm58's and everyone else gets there own for some reason...but it suprised me when i saw one of the guys turning up his mic from what seemed to be a...
You need an amp to go with a 4 x 12, but if your just using them for recording, you should get something a little smaller. Alot of people like the smaller vox amps for recording.
definitly look for some small diaphragm condensors. The only way to make it sound really full is to boost the shit out of the high end, and thats generally not a good way to go about it. I have used 2 overheads, a mic in the kick, and a mic on the bottom of the snare (not pointing straight up...
Another thing you can do, is instead of duplicating the guitar track, go back, and re-record it. Then, pan the two different guitar tracks opposite eachother, with the vocals in the middle. It should make it sound more full than if you just duplicate the track and pan it.
well...major labels is subjective here, but on the song "sink florida sink" by against me, someone fucks up the piano outro, and you hear a singer and someone else whisper "sounds good to me" before its even over.
I didnt change anything when I changed the strings. They almost always break at the bridge, but i havent had this problem until recently. Would leaving it in a case possibly help the humidity problem at all? Any by the way, i dont have a wammy bar hooked up. I think im going to switch back to...
My strat seems to be dieing....It recently started going out of tune easier, the strings are rusting from the humidity of the new england air, and my strings keep breaking easier. How can I help my guitar from going out of tune as much? It never used to have a problem with losing tuning, but...
what are the specifications of yer computer?...If its not too good, you might have to start with that. Also, how are you making beats? You might need a software to do that. I dont know too much in that field, but i know alot of people use fruity loops, and that it can be had for pretty cheap...
i was wondering, what could you use as an interface for the delta 1010lt, so there arent just a bunch of wires coming from nowhere? Would a patchbay work, or do you have to get something else?
i think you can upgrade 2002 to 2004 for like...$50. Atleast 2002 Xl.

oh, i know it sucked, i wasnt planning on buying it unless it was like $10 (which it was on ebay) And if i did get one, id get the newest one, cause they added alot. I think its just somethin fun to work with, not to actually try and make anything "professional" with.
