I made this sub kick. Along with a standard mic on kick it's not bad.

I went thru it track by track. What I THINK is mostly the distortion is the bass track. Everything was miked and the bass amp had a fair amount of fur on it. Add that to the guitar and it can get fuzzy

Pretty much a live take

Drums are a set of Ludwigs. I'm sitting next to him with a Blues Jr with a 441 in front of it.

Some spontaneous jamage that we turned into a song. Waddaya think?

Note; I run this into two Fender Blues Jrs in a wet amp/dry amp stereo setup. The tone stuff (Wah and Tube Screamer) hit both amps. The time based effects (delay and trem) only hit one amp.

I hate pedals. With that said I sure do have a bunch. Primarily I run a Tube Screamer, a Boss TR-2 trem, TC Electronics Profit delay and a Budda Bud_Wah that has since been retired.

The tree itself is sort of a diffuser. Once loaded with cats it becomes much more effective
