sorry, as usual i'm a little OT i was refering to the "i just got my c3" thread that has turned into an all out war about bbs manners. i tend to ramble sooooooo, to get back ON TOPIC... it was very cool that they quoted harvey, and i can't wait till i have enough money to buy one of those mics :)

and before anyone who hasn't read what i put in the thread gets the wrong idea and wants to draw and quarter me, the two times i mentioned harvey's name was simply a matter of me greatly respecting his opinion. i just feel bad thinkin that he might have been drawn in by my comments

That would be great!...although i seriously doubt it would ever happen hey harvey, i don't know if you actually saw it, but just in case...i mentioned your name in a couple of responses to the big nasty thread goin on. i thought about it later and i feel like i didn't really have the right to...

i would recommend a mic or two...but i might get my head bitten off with the current trend. use the search function, look up posts by a man named harvey gerst...harvey rocks!

have you tried over the shoulder micing? just a thought. might give you a little more of the sound your used to hearing from it.

btw harvey, i did mention your name a couple of times in this thread but i hope that i didn't drag you into it by doing so. i only brought it up because i, as well as a lot of other people here, truly respect your opinions.

btw, harvey recommended the behringer ecm8000 to everyone...does that mean he's spamming too? :) remember, not everyone is "tha debil!"

the problem with that is...how are "newbies" supposed to get the information of lying low when they are infact "newbies." i think it sucks that someone automatically assumed something and full on attacked him. besides that, he didn't post a long piece on the mic. just a coulpe of quick lines...

CyanJaguar, this bbs is here so that people CAN post their opinions about products and recording in general. i don't see any problem with what spectoar used as his first post. if i got a shiny new mic the morning i found a great bbs, that's probably what my first post would be about also...

you could always take harvey's advice and spend $35 on a behringer ecm8000. can't beat that price with a freakin stick. :)
