Hi I'm looking to buy a pretty damn decent vocal mic in the range of 100-200 I guess. I heard the beta 58's are awesome. I have never really tried the audio technicas. Any one have any suggestions?

yeah that is a little more in my price range def. yo know all these carvins, ultrasounds, and Etc are great but I can't try them out. That is the down fall to all the other suggestoins. I would immediatly hop in my car if I knew where I could go to play them.

Yeah I have played the Marshall before it is very nice. Wasn't to big on there effects though. The clarity was nice. Roland kills that amp. But for the price that is a close runner up.
