    Better Dynamics Production Question

not any harder than deciding the single region that you just changed with your "gain plugin" is too loud or too soft. just select all your volume automation and trim it down with the trim tool. Or use the trim automation

    Better Dynamics Production Question

the "easy" way is to use volume automation. Much more flexible and easier to undo. Or use a compressor.

    Echo...Plz help?

Then automate the bus. You can either automate the mute button on the send or the volume level going to your aux track. Or separate the audio you want to add the echo/delay effect...and drag it to a new track. Then you can put the plugin on that track.

Anyone want to mix something for me?

the only thing you'll see is any volume/pan information. MAYBE plugin settings depending on if he used the same plugins you have. But seeing what someone did isn't going to teach you WHY he did it that way. You have to develop your ear by yourself. And the only way to do that is just to...

you can nudge or shift them 8 frames... or what I find is easiest is to make a selection of an empty section 8 frames long. Copy the empty section and then turn on shuffle mode. If you didn't have to pay for the add on, they'd just tack it on to the price of your hardware/software. yes it does. You can choose anywhere from 16kbps to 320kbps. That being said, Switch is a great program...

Front end analog mixer for PT8 LE

do you like the DigiMAXLT?? I guess the question is if you like the Presonus that you currently have for the 8 ADAT inputs you already have....and you just want some more preamps for your unit, maybe it's better off just looking for some more high end analog preamps. You probably don't need all...

Front end analog mixer for PT8 LE

what's your budget? Do you like your Presonus Lightpipe? How are you using it now?

Front end analog mixer for PT8 LE

IMO, spend the money on decent preamps/converter. You'll over spend on an analog mixer to reach an improvement in quality...especially since you don't really need all the features a mixer will provide you on the front end. Just get 16-18 channels of preamps.

Protools HD 101 - (Switching to PT HD)

Also, take a look at a 96 I/O (or 96i I/O). Unless you need specific inputs only available on the 192...I don't think the extra sample rate option is worth the extra $2000.
