I like the horn, as Greg mentioned it is a little overpowering.
I would either compress it or use volume automation to tame those louder parts. The reverb and amount of reverb really suits this song.
As for the guitar part at 2:30 someone mentioned it was over processed, I believe it is too raw...
Overall its a bit unclear in the low mids. The bass could be mixed better to fit in with the Mix better, try compression and EQ in the low mids.
The drums are hidden, so cut the low mids on them and boost the volume and boost the high mids. These are just suggestions off the top of my head...
Ok, I tested for gaps by burning the separate files to CD (setting my burning software to no gaps) and ureeka, flawless play back, no gaps between tracks.
So my conclusion is that WMP and other players need a small few milliseconds to load the next track thus the gap between tracks. :)
I am mastering a live album and I have bounced the full album as 1 wave file.
I import this into wavelab and set the markers for start and end of the songs with no gaps between the markers.
I then copy and paste each song and save as separate files.
When I look at the separate files waves there...
Yeah I hear the Smashing Pumpkins influence. :)
The Mix is a bit thin to me, The cymbals and hats seem to take away from the guitars, I would try playing about with the low mids of the guitars and then maybe bring down the cymbals a bit or compress them more.

lol. The snare sound is all over the place, I had 4 recorded snare tracks then I also added the RATM snare sample at the start, which is a Flam rather than a normal clean 1 hit :D

Thanks for listening Greg,
Yeah I am trying to get depth from the low end without messing up the rest of the mix. As I mentioned the low mids are not great in mine.
The bass guitar is a tad harsh in the high mids and same with the snare, I am trying to smooth this out more like the original.
The Mix Sounds very distorted in a bad way to me. Sounds like low quality MP3, Can you post a 320kbps version please?
You may want to lay off the limiter also.
The low end is also messing the Mix up.
I can for sure hear potential in this, and I think the guitars were probably recorded pretty...
Thank you for the kudos heatmiser. Unfortunately I am only posting this part for now.
I was struggling to get the kick to pump the same way as the original. And I couldn't quite get that snare snap (and room ambience) as good also.
The low mids of the bass and the high mids of the guitars were...
I have made a cover of Bulls on Parade by Rage Against the Machine.
Your challenge should you accept it is to work out which version is which.
BUT NO Cheating by using the album version or looking at the waves in any way! :)
Here is Mix A...
That sounds much better, you cleared up the low mids as I mentioned in my last post.
The low end is fine, it may be tad more than the original style sound but I like it as it is, so nothing wrong in my ears here.
Good stuff,
