    Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

Hi, I was wondering about the guitars in Hallelujah. I love that crispy clean sound of the guitars. Can you hear how he recorded the guitars? Did he double the guitars etc? And the overall recording of the song can't have many tracks at all? Thanks! Around

Mixing with earphones - how off am I?

Catchy! I think the vocals are a bit too high though and the drums a little distant.

    Indietronica song, mix critique?

Thanks for the feedback! Will pan the cymbals a bit closer to the center. Im really struggling with the vocals. I did put on some distortion because otherwise it sounds weird with the mix. And I know, they do sound dull. Always when I put on some reverb the vocals seems to loose presence.

    Homeish recorded song

Thank you. Ye, well it is supposed to be like a clean beginning of the verse and then break out a bit more in the middle. I have to play around a little with the settings.

    Homeish recorded song

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I am having a hard time doing the vocals, it is recorded in a room with bad acoustics. I tried to make it fatter so I added a second vocal part with a pitch shifter which probably makes it sound phasey. The volume is quite the same on every instrument so the...

Some things to think about when choosing mics.

Have anyone tried the sEX1 condenser mic from Electronics? Is it good for vocals?
