For me It could be the "Grim Reaper!" Advice appreiciated(more advice)

There's nothing complicated about it. Press arm, record, when you're done press sop, and save. Couldn't be simpler. The more time you spend on it, the more you'll get comfortable with it.

mic/pre choices for thin breathy vocal

People often prefer to use SDCs because of the faster transient response. Simply put, they paint a more accurate picture because they have a smaller diaphragm, which moves faster. That said, a lot of people do use LDCs. The best way to go is to test all the options out, but if you can't and have...

New Microphone Purchase HELP NEEDED ASAP

No, there are cracked versions of Reaper. You get a "registered version" when you install it. Not sure why anyone would DL a crack though, you can simply keep running it without paying. Not that that's any less wrong though :D

There's zero tolerance for that stuff here. You can get banned if a mod sees that. Quit stealing stuff, man up and buy it.

how to get a vocal sound similar to that in songs?

There is a plug in called "Vocal sound similar to the vocals in songs we hear". Google it, it's really awesome. If you like it, you can also get the drums in songs, bass in songs, and guitars in songs plug ins.

I use Guitar Rig 4 too. Sometimes mixed with a mic'd amp and a distortion pedal. Guitar Rig is super.

I'm not great at getting a good guitar sound, so I'm not exactly sure what I mean either :D I think if it were a tiny bit louder and a tiny bit more crunchier, it would really rock.

I think the guitars could be a little more 'meaty'. The song revolves heavily around the main riff, so it really has to sound perfect, if you know what I mean. Everything else sounds good, nice work!
