ive played lots of epiphones and gibsons and ive noticed that gibsons are ALOT heavier, and im not really diggin' that. with this in mind im leaning towards epiphones and will probably change out the pickups. why are the gibsons so heavy? also, IS there an advantage to getting a gibson except...

i've tweaked it but still it get pumping on my overheads. i have a threshold know (-40 - +20 db) a ratio knob, and output knob (-20 - +20 db) and another threshold know that has (o - +16 db)..........if anyone has had experience with this compressor or one like it please help the kid out
