Try Guitar Rig 4, it's one of the only guitar amp/pedal modelers around that i think sounds good. I use it as a plugin in Reaper, works like a charm!

This sounds very good on my desktop speakers, and i do love the drums, kick including. The snare might be a little hidden, but that's subjective i think. Other than that, great song! Love the guitars. :)

That's what i was thinking too. Get the affordable one first to learn the gig, then waste a months salary on the decent preamp with DI, and all the other good stuff. Good luck with it! It has always served me well. :)

I have a Tapco DB-1A. It's pretty cheap, and a decent box for my uses. I haven't compared it to anything else, but it does the job!
