    Neil Young cover

Don't know how to play harmonica so I improvised. Also, you can tell that I was congested when I did the vocals but oh well. Its the first one called "Weekend." Feedback appreciated. http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=8326

    This is different for me.

Thanks for listening Bulls. The drums is from a DR 770. I still don't know how to program the darned thing so I did it manually. Took forever. May need to read that manual one of these days.

    This is different for me.

Not my genre but I tried anyway. Please critique. I'll start by saying that I am not a lead guitar player so that part needs to be replaced. Second, some parts of the vocals need to be re-tracked. Let me know what you guys think. http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=8326

    James Taylor cover

Thanks again guys. I'll re-track the guitars to get rid of that background noise. I really think that's where most of the noise is coming from. You guys sure know how to make me feel good about my hobby. I've been accused that it often borders on insanity. The gear expenses, the countless...

    James Taylor cover

Thanks guys. Anfontan, I did the tracks separately using SP C4s into FMR RNP and RNC. Thanks for listening and critiquing. I really appreciate your kind words. GregL, Didn't expect a guy with Frehley for an avatar (very nice by the way :) )would get this kind of music. This makes your...

    James Taylor cover

Thanks Danny. I typically don't get too much feedback here since most members do other types of music. I really appreciate you spending time to share constructive criticism. I think you're referring to Rick Shepherd. He's an avid JT, JD, Croce fan. Heck of a nice guy. I struggled at first and...

    James Taylor cover

Another very simple format - acoustic guitar and vocals. Feedback appreciated. Song for you, far away by James Taylor http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=8326

    Very simple recording

Thanks Steve. I'll check on that delay tomorrow.

    Very simple recording

Thanks for listening Steve. I wish I can do more ballsy vocals. I've tried and I just cant seem to pull it off. My abilities are so limited. Cristopher Cross, Michael Franks, David Gates type stuff is all I can do. I always get envious of Sebastian Bach, Sammy Hagar, Steven Tyler style vocals...

    Pick one...Help me out.

NTK gets my vote. However, I have to say that I have not used anything else other than an AT4040.

    Very simple recording

Lifehouse's "You and Me." Just acoustic guitar and vocals. Thinking about doing coffeehouses so I didn't fix the mistakes to hear how people would hear me. I think the song carried me to audiostreet's #1 artist in this easy listening genre. Feedback appreciated...

    Frustrated...song sucks despite all efforts!

Not a Bread song. Hall and Oates. The last part of the acoustic guitar lead does sound like Bread. I tried to fool around with it to bring up the bass drum and take some of the bass guitar down. I'm not sure how to add more percussions but I'l keep trying. Re-tracked some of the vocals that...

    Frustrated...song sucks despite all efforts!

Got it. Should be easy to fix. Thanks. One unrelated question. I'm just now noticing rep power and its 100. What exactly is it?

    Frustrated...song sucks despite all efforts!

Yarn. :) Great feedback! Bass level should be easy to fix. There are already two rhythm guitar tracks but I didn't pan them out far enough I guess. Is this what "adding more space to the mix" means? Background vox don't need retracking?

    2 guitar-crazy instrumentals

Wow! Makes me want to quit trying so hard. Thanks for sharing. This is excellent!

    Frustrated...song sucks despite all efforts!

http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=8326 It's the one called Promises. Vocals need retracking especially background. Bass playing is crappy and still too boomy in certain areas. Rhythm guitar strumming sometimes weird. Better yet scrap the whole thing and take up knitting.

    A song for my daughter

Metalhead, this is awesome. Your daughter will love this when she's old enough to appreciate this type of music. I like the touch of pinch harmonics. Reminds me of Satriani. My ears want a tad bit more delay and reverb in the earlier parts - just like how it already sounds around 2:59. I like...

    Acoutic Nirvana vs Pitiful Budget

Don't be too sure that the Tak on ebay will sound exactly like the one you played at the store.

    Any idea which mic.....

Mshilarious, Never be the same with you here, man. Now think of Laura as you go and ride like the wind.

    Any idea which mic.....

Hehehe. Wrong Chris Cross. I was referring to the older, bald headed, 80s mellow rock dude with the soaring vocals, not the adolescent, oversized-baggy-pants wearing 90s rappers. :) Although they did make me jump! Or was that the Pointer Sisters? EVH?
