By pointing the mics to the ceiling they are most likely going to get a roomy sound OH. I read somewhere that people do that in order to get room sounds in a small place. But it is indeed a very weird mic placement.

I dont like how the drum sounds. It sounds a bit over processed. For the genre it might actually fit though. The vocals sounds really good, but the vocals are a little loud. Overall the mix is pretty good, good job.

Yeah...I need to take more time on vocals. It might sound cool to be pitchy sometimes...but I do it quite often. Its a Hohner 26 Student model...it sounds absolutely great to me. I think I spent 100 bucks for it a couple of years ago. You should go for it.
