Anyone run their audio through an eq (flat) that has a spectrum display as a guide for mixing? What I mean is, play a music source that is your target for your mix and try to get your audio to resemble the spectrum display. I know, I know,,,,,,,,,,,,I'm getting pretty desperate here.

I'm just glad I bought it locally. Sometimes the tax is worth the convenience when there is a problem.

Well, that didn't last long. I did my second mix on it, edited the begin/end and added a fade. Burned a cd to go and listen in my van (which was bad again as usual) went back down to my studio and the display was blank. I tried to turn it on and off but the display never came back. Well I got one and have messed around with it a bit. Put together a mix and attempted to place the normalizer on it and didn't hear any difference with that option. I like it so far. I burned a disc of the mix and checked it out elsewhere, my mix translated a little thin and bright. I don't...

Bruce, what kind of cost is involved in changing the converters? Can I do it myself or is it outboard converters that you are speaking of.

My friend uses one in his studio and is really liking it. The harmony central reviews were brutal but maybe they were on older units. There are lots of editing options with it and I am hoping some of them will be useful for me. I wish it had a light pipe in/out though.

I purchasd one about a month ago and I am really enjoying the board. The eq section has saved my butt already on an old snare track that I had recorded very poorly. I was able to put some life back into it. For the money, I couldn't find anything better.

I have one and I a/b'ed it with a 57 through a small pa with my vocal. It seems a little meetier than the 57. A bit rounder in the mid and thicker as well. I can't wait to try it on a snare. I thought it might be nice on the bottom of the snare and a 57 on the top side.

Went ahead and hooked the M-One up as two processors. This way I have use of two seperate fx from the M-One and I still have the use of another aux stereo input. The new board does sound a lot better! Fun fun!!

Yes, Unfortunately I think that the two stereo returns are it for this board. I can pretty much get the job done with just the two but jeeesh! With six aux sends, you would think that it would have more returns.

HELP!! SOUNDCRAFT LX7-II hook-up??? I just upgraded from my two Mackie 1604's hooked together to a Soundcraft LX7 II and I cant figure out how to hook up the dang effects. My ol' mackies had aux out 1 through 6 and so does the Soundcraft. The mackies had 4 pairs of stereo returns for the fx...
