You cannot export MIDI as a wav file!!!!!!!!!! Send the synths outputs to a audio track play the MIDI track and record the synths output on the audio track. You record audio from a synth that was triggered by MIDI!!

My only real complaint with PT LE MIDI is that it does not have a useful split notes function like digital performer. Pro Tools in general is less powerful then some of the DAWs but ALOT easier and faster to use, which I think promotes creativity.

I am curious too the previous thread said nothing about why a matched pair is soo important. I have a few ideas but it would be cool to hear what other people know

I found that SCSI PCI cards go from $20 to $70 on ebay. But I am not sure if your PC will know what to do when you hook up your Digital Recorder. SCSI a bit before my time(LOL) so I am not sure how it will work with your set up.

That being said I think the GC stereo pairs are bogus becuase I don't think they test them in an anachoic chamber. They probably just pull pairs out of production. I could be wrong.
