MaxB got it right! I used to do all of my delays by ear...and i did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. But then a friend of mine told me about the formula: 60,000 divided by BPM = Delay time in Miliseconds. Then fine tune it by multiplying or dividing by 2 until you get the desired...
