He has talked to Roland... but they don't guarantee anything. He wants to back up his system before he sends it to Roland, just in case something happens. His machine is still working, but the CD burner crapped out. Help me help this guy out. Any info is appreciated!

All you "producers" out there and nobody makes demo cds with snippets so people can audition you beats? Surprising...almost 90 people have looked at this thread...c'mon now, somebody drop some info on how you do it.

For those of you who sell beats and make beat cd's for people to audition your work...how long do you make your snippets (Bars/Seconds)? What kind of structure do you use when making snippets...if any. Off topic: What kind of contracts do you use when selling beats? (Examples are good!)...

Sonar will not open. The program will not do anything...I click the icon, which should bring the program up (launch, open, load) the hourglass symbol shows for a second (like it's going to work) and then it goes away and nothing happens. The program has yet to open...even when I install it...

I put the computer back to its original config, with only the main (new) HD. I re-installed sonar, but I am still having the same problem. The program will not run. When I try to open any of the sample files...it tells me it can't find them and to go to the start menu and do a search. WTF...
