I believe that scripture definitely fits. Appreciate comments from everyone. And clif, I posted the song for advice on a mic and they were too busy saying that the drum machine was no good, etc. etc. They never even got around to giving me any mic advice.

    Two Songs done on VF-160

Well you know everybody hears different. I'm not a Rascal Flatts fan per say. I don't buy their stuff, but saw them on a live concert on CMT and thought they were some talented guys. A lot of the stuff they did in the concert was along the same lines as I Want Someone.

    Two Songs done on VF-160

Excellent songs Dave. My favorite is I Want Someone. Really a great song. Sounds like something that Rascal Flatts would do (if you've ever heard of them?). I think you did a great job of recording also. The harmonies sound great. There is nothing wrong with your recording at all and I'm no...

    Monitor problem

Folks want to tell the world when they feel that a business has ripped them off or done them wrong. They expect to get good fair treatment so they don't go around telling everyone.

I leased the track for our group and until I record the song to sell all I have to do is give the writer credit. However, I have corresponded with the writer by email and already have the permission (mechanical license) to record the song for sell. I think nowhereradio is being real strict to...

    Thanks to the Fostex Forum

Look, don't think I'm getting all cheesy and snotty or trying to brown nose here or anything like that, but I would like to thank you guys and gals. This is the best forum out of the 3 or 4 I go on. You folks are the most helpful, nice, encouraging bunch of people that I'm around on the net...

I can't agree with you more on this. The problem is a lot of folks are not trying to develop what God gave them or they are using what He gave them in the wrong way.

    Monitor problem

That's what I've always like about Musician's Friend. Especially since the closest "decent" gear store around is about 60 miles away.

3 business days. I'm keeping the blems until I get the new ones then shipping them back. Of course they pay the shipping.

Why wouldn't it work? I've thought about this too.

    Monitor problem

Well I've got my return authorization # from Musician's Friend and am returning the monitors. What's more when speaking to the gentleman about exchanging them he noticed that I had a $77 credit on my account that I didn't know about. So I got the new monitors (the ones that are not working...

    Here's a song for you.

Being able to learn something is a gift too. Believe me, I've got a Yamaha acoustic right here and have never been able to do more than play a little rhythm.

    Hook up new monitors??

I didn't think about that? I'll have to do that sometime.

I have the same thing for a pop filter. You need to check out the song I did if you haven't already. www.nowhereradio.com/artists/?aid=2892/singles

    Monitor problem

I believe that is what I will do. It's funny, I can turn them on and go do something else for ten minutes and come back and they work fine. But I can't just turn them on and start anything right then.

    Monitor problem

Well just when I thought I was getting somewhere. I turned my M-Audio monitors on and the right one was making a terrible noise. When I started playing music through it the right one was very loud and the left one was very low. I tried to turn the volume down on the right one and the volume knob...
