Ok. Are you trying to transfer more than one track at a time? I've never transferred but one at a time using wavmanager. I don't know this is very weird. Do you have the MR-8 in USB mode? I think you have to tell it where to transfer. Try My documents. Hang in there we are gonna figure this out.

I'm guessing it is the mic. Are you using a condenser or dynamic? Mixer/preamp or straight into MR-8? Just thought of something else. Where is your trim set? What are the levels on the tracks? What is the "input A select" switch set on. It needs to be on "line" if you are pluggin a mic in.

You don't need the card reader if you have Windows 2000 or XP. If you have v 1.02 you need to update before you will be able to transfer tracks. Update from the fostex site. A USB cable does not come with the MR-8.
