Although I never solicited the early votes, and was essentially penalized for something beyond my control, I had kinda hoped that by dropping out (in what I had hoped was the interest of fairness), that others might take note, and keep this competition as pure of spirit as were the OP's original...

Yeah...I think that it'd be most appropriate for me to drop out of this one.... I had intended to anyway, but had my own reasons for dropping back in... ...whatever those were, they don't seem to outweigh the unfairness of my having garnered votes before posting my story, so I'll have to go...

I don't know - I just kept poking around and trying stuff when these features were added to the board. How did you manage to end up at my profile, anyway? I seldom post here these days...
