What interface are you using? If one of the mbox family, make sure the "mix" knob is set to "playback only"..

    Wrong clock speed

Actually, there's an easier way to do it. All i needed was a bit of sleep! I'll post my solution incase anyone searches for this: The file just wants playing back at a 48k clock speed. So, simply create a new session (at 48k), and import the audio. PT will THINK the audio is 44.1k and will want...

    Wrong clock speed

Ok, I know it's been covered before, and I've even helped people to solve the problem, but I've been in the studio for 14hrs today and just can't think my way through this one. Serious case of being totally brain dead. So, here's what happened. Normally recording session, done at 44.1kHz. Mid...

Opening Pro Tools Files in Logic

Without spending money on extra software, the easiest way is to select all the audio, making sure you highlight all the way to the start of the session, and consolidate. The simply export the consolidated tracks so they can then be imported into logic.

Mbox 2 Mini And Its Inputs

Your problem lies with Skype - as far as I'm aware it only transmits 1 channel of audio. The only solution is to use a small mixer and to mix your 2 mics together in that, and plu that in to input 1 of your mbox.

    crazy bounce to disc problem

I had this problem a few times a coupla years ago, turns out it was a plugin that had kinda corrupted itself or something like that. Try removing plugin types one by one to see if that's the same problem? EDIT: what's your DAE buffer size set to? Try setting it to 2. If none of that works, try...

Need more inputs for my Mbox 2

this dbx tube preamp is supposed to sound quite good AND has s/pdif outputs. It's cheaper than a 002 as well ;) there's a few out there, you've just got to look!

Bouce to disk problem in Protools 8

When you bounce, chose to bounce as "stereo interleaved" rather than "multiple mono" - it's in the Bounce to Disk window. And you'll probably get more responses if you post in the Pro Tools specific forum!

Converting Plugins - Windows to Mac

And here's another truth that might hurt: If they are plugins that you've legally purchased, then the manufacturer should be able to provide you with Mac compatible plugins. If they aren't legally purchased plugins, it is generally frowned upon to discuss illegal activities on this BBS ;)

Need more inputs for my Mbox 2

Your mbox actually has the capacity for 4 simlutaneous inputs - but only 2 of those are analogue! So what you need - if you want to stay using the mbox - is to buy 1 or 2 channels of mic preamp, and an analogue to digital converter that will output S/PDIF (a digital format). You may or may not...

    Protools on Mac

That's actually a pretty acurate description of what the buffer does. No, the H/W Buffer size limit has nothing to do with how much RAM you've got !!

Help hw buffer errors during playback....

Have you tried a completely fresh install? Also try uninstalling any 3rd party plugins you've installed. Check in the sticky at the top of the forum for the link to digi's compatibility page and check every single component of your computer to see if there's an issue there.

Will the usa version of pro24 work in ireland without any problems

As long as you get an appropriate power supply (not sure if it can run off FW buss power alone), you should be fine. The power supply that an USA model will have will be set for their voltage (120v) as apposed to yours (240v).

    Protools on Mac

The H/W Buffer size is not in MB and has nothing (much) to do with how much RAM you have! The number refers to the size of the buffer, measured in samples. I'm not quite sure what your question is? Is everything running fine?
