Around that same time, I worked in a music store teaching, repairing, and demonstrating guitars. I think the name was something like 'MPC', or sumpin, sumpin? That was one cool as hell bass. Plug in modules. Had an excellent feel and balance too. If you find any info, let us know. Not as good...
