I posted this question a while ago, but I can't find the response... Well, how WOULD you rate it? I have had pretty decent experiences with my pair, and from what I understand the Beaatles used to use it as a snare mic. Is it good for anything else?

If my Behringer MX2004 has mic preamps, why would I need to bother getting a mic pre for my condensers? I have phantom power on the board, and it seems to work fine. Can someone explain this to me?
