Do you know of a good source for a phantom power supply? I need the stand-alone kind. Will any 48V unit work okay with the Marshall MXL 2001P? I got one off ebay, and now I need the phantom supply.

I my humble opinion, you would be more successful if you "do your own thing". Go back to the mp3 site, educate yourself, figure out how to do this! It is worth the effort, and fun. (It is not hard, just takes a little time and effort to work it out.) See my mp3 site (just started)...

Just from the sound of it (no pun intended) I would double check all your cable connections. Eliminate any unnecessary adapters etc. Good luck with this!

I was recently given one of these mics. It looks like a good dynamic mic. I have no info about it, and can't seem to locate info on the net. It has a three position switch B-M-S. How is this used? Thanks!

Hi Eddie, The SB Live Value seems to work okay for me. I could not afford the more expensive cards either. The live has much less noise than the real El Cheapo SB cards. The Live Value is not what the big dogs use, but it works fine for me! [This message has been edited by BlueNorthern...
