    Do you know of a good source for a phantom power supply? I need the stand-alone kind. Will any 48V unit work okay with the Marshall MXL 2001P? I got one off ebay, and now I need the phantom supply.

    I my humble opinion, you would be more successful if you "do your own thing". Go back to the mp3 site, educate yourself, figure out how to do this! It is worth the effort, and fun. (It is not hard, just takes a little time and effort to work it out.) See my mp3 site (just started)...

    Just from the sound of it (no pun intended) I would double check all your cable connections. Eliminate any unnecessary adapters etc. Good luck with this!

    soundblaster live value version 2
