Chance, Like others have been saying, an idea of price would be great. Is it possible to setup a chart of some kind, like I've seen with software group buys? i.e. 1 to 25 units = $, 26 to 50 units = $$, 51 ti 75 units = $$$ 76 to 100 units = $$$$ etc, etc Just a thought. Joel

I use and really like the Audio Technica ATM25. I see them on eBay fairly regularly going for $50 to $100. Joel

Nope, that's not working either. Not sure what's going on. I've been to the site many times. Have even ordered mics. I checked my cookie list to make sure I didn't have it blocked, but that doesn't appear to be the trouble. Joel

I think like any mic, the Sm57 has it's place. Just don't expect it to always sound the best. Joel

Be careful, there are many fakes being sold today. Ebay seems to attract these types. Check the seller out very well. Joel

I have 4 Shure SM57s and 2 Audix i5s. I like the i5 on most snares. Just, "better" sounding! Joel

Another vote for the RNC. Excellent, EXCELLENT, compressor! I've been using the RNC for recording vocals with much success for some time now. Super Nice Mode just does amazing things to all vocals I've put through it. You can find better comps, but you'll pay big bucks to get them! Joel

I use gates on mics in live gigs all the time. It's not that hard to get them set, just takes a bit of time and expermintation. If you understand how a gate works and specifically, the controls on your own gate, they can be set to work perfectly. Joel

I usually mic the hats and then use if needed. Joel

I always keep backups. Either on CD/DVD or on a second HD. Never hurts to have more than one copy of any song file. Joel
