    VS-2400cd Tell me about it.

I have owned the VS2400 for a couple of years. I like it a lot. Even though it comes with a manual the size of a phone book, it's pretty easy to get started with. Make sure to buy a monitor for it, all functions are much easier to see and edit (like comp software) with one. I guess a limitation...

    Old dog, New tricks

Thanks for the advice. I don't think my feet are necessaraly weak, I can play triplets (RRL) pretty fast. Even single foot triplets. I have been playing a long time. It's really more of a timing thing I guess. If i play sixteenth notes on the snare, I can follow with my feet at a decent clip...

    Old dog, New tricks

I have been playing drums for over thirty years. I have always played single bass. I bought a new set about 2 years ago and got a double bass pedal with it. I just can't get it. I practice and practice and just cannot get speed. I am not really looking for technique advice or what pedal might be...

    Versatile Tube Amp

You might take a look at the B-52 amps. Good stuff. Good prices. I own the combo, it was about $800, 100w all tube. I think the head is about $700. Very versatile. http://www.b-52stealthseries.com/ATSeries.html

    Haggling at Guitar Center

My experiences with the Indy GC have always been good. I just ask what the best price on a piece of gear is, they give me a quote and since I know in advance how much I'll pay for it I usually buy it or just leave, no hard feelings. The last guitar I bought there they had to special order and...

    Metal Drum Heads

No, not heads made of metal... I am going to be recording a heavy metal project next and need to change the heads on my toms. Anyone have a suggestion on what metal guys are currently using? I was thinking just replacing with Remo pinstripes, I currently have Aquarian performance 2's on them. I...

What are the pro's and con's about the Vs2000

If you can afford to, you might step up to the VS2400, 24 tracks and MOTORIZED faders!

    Octabans

Alex Van Halen used them too. I think they were mainly for show, alot of guys who have huge sets had them. I'm not sure how functional they are.

HAHA.. Just start a thread with key word behringer in the title and everyone gets their panties in a wad. I saw that picture and just put it up as a goof. I thought it would be funny, but only the reaction to it has been. Doug p.s. I own this too....
