Oh ok, I read somewhere the equalization and compression stages in mastering are the most important. So I will try to learn more about these in detail.

For Reason, are you talking about ReWire? Just click on the input for the track you want to record in (in audition), and for Device choose ReWire. Or if you need to record something else, just choose wave in. Hope this helps!

Oh, ok I see... Well I played with the "Hard Limiting" feature, and I think I may have stumbled upon my solution... I got the nice rich mix, and the waveform looked similar to pro studio waveforms... and thats all I really wanted. Please see picture, are those settings safe/fine?

Yeah, I did NOT make the beat, so I have no control over that... But my main focus was on the placement of the vocals, and how they fit in to the mix. Obviously they were fine, the only problem is that the instrumental/beat needs to be tweeked, which again I will not be able to do.... Thanks...

Ok, I've edited it a little, its still the same link as before. I thought it sounded like too much Reverb, so I took some off, and I also brought up the beat, and lowered the vocals a little. As for the beat, I didn't make it, so I can't do much to it... Tell me if this one is alright... Sample
