I have a DP-24 AND a DP-08EX. Never tried mastering on either one. I always port to my PC and use CoolEdit2000 to master. Not sure but Audacity (free) can probably do similar functions.

I have the RC-3F and love it. Although I ended up using it more on my GB-10 instead. Very handy to be able to start playback with my foot instead of bending over to hit the play button. - Bill

I've had a similar error. Turns out I hit the rewind button (stop+rew) before the last take completed writing to the SD card. I was not able to recover from that and had to use a new SD card. I use PNY 8gb class 10 cards. Available at Staples for around $10. Never had any other issues.
