Have you auditioned any other amps??? How do you know what you want unless you try them? People's opinions are just that. An opinion and a dollar might get you a cup of coffe at the local Stop & Rob. Audition a few different amps you are interested in at the local M&P shop or Guitaripoff Center.

Sorry. You need a more advanced mixer. You can never have too much mixer no matter what sort of recording you are doing.

Try routing the iPod to a regular input channel and assign the output to the monitor section. Assign the drums to the main mix buss.

You'll have to find some jumpers for those jacks or attach patch cables to close the circuit or you'll never get anything through the channels. Looks like you have directs outs for a four track recorder and a send for routing an effect. There is also a buss-in for the return, though I don't...

Rick, do you have a patchbay left and a 10' or 13' 1/4-1/4 or 1/4-RCA snake?

You may have a relay sticking on that channel card. IIRC from the schematic, it's usually 106 that is the problem child. They can be replaced cheaply if you can solder. In the mean time, reseat the channel card and see if the condition improves. I have this happening on channels 6 and 8 on my...

AMS is the only dealer I buy from. It's a lot easier to buy expensive gear over interest-free time than to part with a large chunk at once. They still send paper out, but it doesn't include the whole site catalog. Never had a shipping problem and everything has always arrived intact.
