I started using pro-tools a a few days ago after the many years with N-Track(rip). Reason I switched is because it crashes alot. Im using a AMD64 3200+, 2gbs ram, M-Audio 2496 and Delta 44, PT 6.7LE.

In options make sure "Compensate Plugin Latency" is unchecked and make sure DSP Priority thread is set to "1". Are u using ASIO or WDM? Yeah n-track is very buggy sometimes. Im planning to swich over to m-powered pro-tools by mid march.
