Finally got the rest of my room!!! (Pics)

I have a few things posted, not much though... I tend to start an idea, and move on to another before anything really good comes of it... (that's a luxury you have in a home studio.... time is free!!) Here's as random sampling of what I have out there though... nothing remarkable, that's for...

    Dwarfs Cab part 2

As was I.... I opened up the cabinet (which is quite heavy), to install casters and put in a toggle for the Stereo wiring, and was VERY surprised to see how well made the actual "box" was... I knew what you were talking about. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Also, the quality of the birch wwas superb...

    Dwarfs Cab part 2

I have owned Marshall 1960A cabs, and the Avatar 4x12 (Carpet and metal grille)... The Avatar will hold up better than my Marshalls did. Really.... Both have great construction, but the carpet is holding better than the Marshall vinyl....

Finally got the rest of my room!!! (Pics)

Actually, there are 3 monitoring systems.... the Event Tria's (w/ sub), Minimus 7s, and the cheap 12" 3-way Yamaha Bookshelf speakers mounted on the side wall... ;) The Yamahas are older $100 speaks, and I had no other use forthem. They represent "Average Consumer" sounding speakers... The...

Finally got the rest of my room!!! (Pics)

I guess the Alesis RA-150 is okay... I use it only to power a pair of Minimus 7 speakers... (secondary monitors, my Events are powered) Doesn't need much juice for that... It's completely silent (no fan), and always turns on (knock on wood)... I got it off eBay for about 100 bucks...

Finally got the rest of my room!!! (Pics)

Almost never.... but sometimes I wish the Quad preamp had more gain for leads... It really doesn't have as much as the manual/sales brochure would have you believe... :D Sometimes you just need a bit "more".... Totally compressed, legato, feedback driven fun.... It also sounds good BEFORE a...

No Toneport.... I do have a GuitarPort though.... (I use it when the wife is sleeping, or upstairs w/ my laptop, when the wife is watching TV...) ;) The thing sounds great w/ headphones... especially the cleaner tones w/ a Strat.... It never gets used for recording though.

Your soundcard's buffer size settings are in (you guessed it), you soundcard software.... (I have a Delta 1010, my buffer settings are in something called M-Audio Delta Panel)

    Cubase Freeze

Based on the info you said, no, there's no easy way.... Have you experimented w/ the buffer size setting on your sound card??? Maybe if you increase the buffer size, you'll be fine... You'll just get higher latency. (But that's fine except when you are actually laying/recording your...

MAYBE you can export your 96k tracks to 44.1 and start over in a new project, importing them.... not sure....

    Cubase Freeze

With that machine, and your needs, 44.1 is fine... there's really no need for 96k....

What are the specs on your computer?? What other programs do you have running in the background? Have you scanned for SpyWare?? You should have a computer (or at least 1 partition) dedicated exclusively to audio work. Not games, Internet, etc... How is your computer optimized? Also, cracked...

Lexicon MX200, M-Audio FW410, SPDIF 'External FX' loop in N3/SX3?

Oh.... there is also a setting on the MX200 for something like "digital routing"... I don't remeber the details off the top of my head...you may want to read your manual, and maybe do a factory reset, as it works fine in "factory default" mode.... Let me know...
